Stacer Booms

This design utilizes a unique spring element called a stacer to form an extended boom. The boom itself may be used as a sensor/antenna, or a sensor may be supported on the end. Stowed volume is extremely compact. Stacer booms have a successful track record with hundreds of deployments in space and other environments

Rigid Booms

Rigid deployable booms utilize advanced composite materials combined with tried-and-true mechanisms to provide a structurally robust solution. Designs include single and multi-segment arrangements. These units have a successful history on a multitude of space missions. Example applications include magnetometer and sensor deployments.
